NDIS Services

Community Access/Participation

We assist participants to engage in community, social, cultural and civic activities of their choice. We take time to understand our participants preferences and work with them to create a plan to help support them enjoy their favourite activities including:

  • playing your favourite sport or engage in a hobby
  • fun outings like going to the zoo, the beach or concert
  • attending social activities like attending a community BBQ, visit to the library, music lessons
  • learning  life skills like taking public transport or navigating using mobile maps to make participants more independent in how they go out and engage with their community
  • providing a support worker to help support the participant during these activities

Community Nursing

We offer nursing care for participants with the following care needs:

  • catheter care
  • skin integrity checks
  • tracheostomy care
  • medication management
  • intramascular injections
  • training support workers to respond to a participant's needs

Daily Care and Life Skills Development

We offer supports that provide training and development for participants or their carers to increase the ability to live as independently as possible. This includes:

  • budgeting and managing finances
  • cleaning and tidying up their own home or living spaces
  • using public transport and trip planning to help engage in community
  • improving communication to enhance relationships and social skills
  • managing own personal care
  • meal preparation and laundry
  • shopping for groceries, clothes or other items
  • taking medications

Group and Centre Based Activities

We offer supports for participants to access and engage in community, social cultural and recreational activities in a group setting out in the community or in a centre. This includes:

  • playing board or video games
  • meeting other participants and making friends
  • learning how to socialise and communicate with others
  • reading books and watching TV shows or movies
  • learning art or music

Household Tasks

We provide supports that assist participants with essential household tasks which they are unable to do themselves because of their disability. This includes:

  • cleaning and laundry
  • meal preparation and delivery
  • dishwashing
  • light hose or yard maintenance

Personal Daily Living Tasks

We assist or help supervise participants with personal daily living tasks to help them live as independently as possible in their own home and in the community. This includes:

  • feeding, drinking, dressing and toileting
  • personal hygiene including bathing, showering, washing and drying hair, fingernail and toenail cutting (non-medical)
  • moving and positioning

Short/Medium Term Accomodation (Respite)

We offer short/medium stay accommodation in a safe and supporting environment. This respite care provides participants and their loved ones with:

  • opportunities to explore new activities and hobbies outside of their normal routine
  • respite break to recharge and reenergise 
  •  a chance to learn new skills and make friends
  • a safe place to stay giving carers flexibility

Specialised Supported Employment

We help provide participants assistance to prepare for, find and retain a job in their employment setting of choice. This includes:

  • drafting a resume/CV
  • interview skills coaching and rehearsing
  • professional conduct and etiquette

Supported Independent Living (SIL)

We provide supports at home or in one of our group homes to assist/supervise participants with activities of daily living and to help develop the skills to live as independently as possible. This includes supports listed under:

  • Household Tasks
  • Personal Daily Living Activities

Transition Care

We offer short-term supports that provide participants with assistance to manage life transitions including:

  • transitioning to new living arrangements
  • transitioning from/to new education or job settings
  • hospital discharge care

Transport/Travel Assistance

We support participants unable to travel or use public transport indepently with transport assistance, including:

  • transportation to community-based activities
  • training to build confidence and skills to safely use public transport independently
  • costs related to aforementioned transport arrangements
